I'm super happy to see my Splatfest doodles again, I thought I lost them along with my computer. That made my day.
Edit : ok, so not everything is there but I'm very happy with what is.

Man I miss Miiverse, having a little Nintendo community full of talented artists right on your console was such a good idea. It was one of my favorite things about the Wii U. People really didn't understand from the outside looking in just how engaging that console was to the hardcore faithful. I was glued to that gamepad for those few short years!

I rarely draw and yet something about Miiverse encouraged me to doodle all the time, it became a creative outlet and a great way to decompress in between work or classes. Looking back I'm surprised how good some of these scribbles were.

Spent all week in a post-9/11 fugue state consuming loaded media coverage and increasingly unhinged "takes" from all sides of the political spectrum. I really just need a break from staring into the abyss. Threw on Starship Troopers last night for something a little less deranged than reality, that helped. Gotta log off and chill out this weekend. I'm thinking about what games to play and simpyly smiling.
